Unable to update KeePassRPC 2.02

KeePass is suggeting I update to KeePassRPC 2.0.2. I’ve downloaded the plgx file and placed it in the Plugins directory but it is not recognized. KeePass still runs 1.14.
Some relevant facts- 1) I have been able to get my Windows 10 machine at work to update. My home Windows 11 machine will not. 2) my home system has KeePass installed in the 64 bit program files directory. The KeePassRPC says it should be in the 32 bit Program Files (x86) directory. 3) I’m using Firefox. Both Firefox and KeePass have been off and then restarted after the 2.0.2 install.
And thoughts?

By the way I love both sets of utilities, KeePass and Kee. I do not want to entrust my passwords to any large company, neither Mozilla or Google.
Thanks,
Max

If KeePass still shows 1.14
you have more than one installed and updated the wrong installation.
It doesn’t matter in which dir the files are.
Search your whole system for keepass.exe and remove one install completely.

Thanks, Horst. That indeed was the problem. I had an old version I took care to rename. However Keepass found it and loaded it first. Once I deleted it, 2.0.2 loaded.
I still wonder a bit why it installed to and runs from the 64 bit Program Files directory, but, hey, its working.
