Kee sometimes doesn't detect KeePass

Hello,

I have this recurrent issue : KeePass is running (v2.54 on Windows 11) and a database is unlocked but the Kee browser extension (Firefox 117.0.1 64-bit) says “Open Kee Vault or KeePass to enable Kee”.

This happens quite often so I usually copy/paste credentials from KeePass but this is getting on my nerves so I thought maybe someone knows of a solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it connect if you wait for 1.5 minutes after launching KeePass or just never happen?

Try leaving KeePass running to find out if it relates to only the initial connection or whether there could be something on your system that regularly breaks the connection.

It will eventually connect but I don’t know how long it really takes. Way more than 1.5 minutes I think.

Now if I restart the browser, it will connect right away. It only seems to happen when the browser is already running and I start KeePass afterwards.
