It is rather amazing to find that I must copy and paste the password for this forum’s login from the KeePass database to the Firefox browser popup.

Never mind! This appears to have been a user error in KeePass. Selecting the “Set as Kee home group” in the left-click pop-up menu seems to have been a very bad choice.
Sigh, and I was so hoping a way had been found to establish the folder to which KeePass opens regardless of which folder contains the most recently updated entry. Oh well!
